BABY SPARKS
Early support to develop listening and spoken language in the very early years of life - aimed at families of deaf babies 0 - 12 months. The first year of life is full of opportunities to develop the child's ability to listen and undertand spoken language. This will set them up to start saying their first words.

TODDLER SPARKS
Early support for deaf children between the ages of 1 - 3 years. This support focuses on the
development of the child's first words and how they can start having early conversations.
In-person or online sessions available

PRESCHOOL SPARKS
Support for children who are getting ready to start Reception. We focus on making sure your child has the necessary language to start school, understand the teachers and make friends!

SCHOOL SPARKS
Support for deaf pupils in primary school. This support can take shape in different forms, from in-service training, to 1:1 therapy sessions with the pupil and a key member of staff
In-person or online support available.

ASSESSMENTS
A range of Speech, Language and Listening assessments are available. Children on the programme at Hark & Spark are assessed every 6 months with a report included on their progress.
Ad hoc assessments are also available on request.

EHCP REPORTS
We are able to provide detailed and comprehensive reports and recommendations for Education Health & Care Plans (EHCP). EHCP reports are priced separetely.
CLINICAL MENTORING & TRAINING
Support for professionals who work in deafness

AG Bell Mentoring
Clinical mentoring for professionals seeking to become Certified Auditory Verbal Therapists or who wish to add AV therapy to their clinical toolbox.
Online - can be delivered in English, Maltese & Italian

Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision provided for Speech & Language
Therapists working with deaf children or Teachers Deaf Children & Young People
Online - can be delivered in English, Maltese & Italian

In-service Training
In service training can be delivered to speech therapy teams, sensory service teams, schools, nurseries and any service provision for deaf children and their families.
Topics range from wokring with babies, developing a listening brain, parent coaching, play, supporting children with additional needs etc...
